OnePlus 13 - Forgotten access code

Forgotten access code for the OnePlus 13
Warning: proceed with caution
Performing a hard reset involves advanced steps that can be risky for your smartphone. Follow these instructions carefully, as incorrect actions may lead to unintended consequences for your device.
How to regain access to your OnePlus device with a hard reset
If you’ve forgotten your phone’s PIN or unlock pattern, it can be frustrating. For security reasons, you cannot reset your code without unlocking the device first. A hard reset is the only way to remove the PIN or pattern, allowing you to access your phone again.
Note: A hard reset will erase all data on your device, including apps, photos, and files. Make sure you’re prepared for this data loss before proceeding.
Steps to reset your OnePlus device via recovery mode
- Turn off your phone and wait a few seconds.
- Press and hold the Volume Down and Power buttons simultaneously. Release them once the OnePlus logo disappears.
- Use the volume buttons to navigate to English and confirm with the Power button.
- Select Wipe data and cache.
- Choose Erase everything.
- Confirm by selecting This cannot be undone, continue?
- Your phone will now perform the reset and reboot to factory settings.
Once completed, your OnePlus device will be restored to its original settings, and the PIN or pattern will be removed.
Hard resets can be an effective way to regain access to your device, but proceed carefully to avoid unintended data loss or issues.
