Most of the pre installed apps are from Google and underwhelming IMHO. Basically I'm saying the hardware is solid but the app store is you're friend for quality apps.

My 3 year old HTC Desire 20 Pro stopped working one morning, could not turn it on, so ordered this HTC 22 Desire Pro. Then after 48 hours the HTC 20 sprang to life and started to work again. However I found that the HTC 22 is faster than the Previous HTC 20 phone with a much better camera too, the battery has a slightly smaller power capacity but still has several days life without recharging, it also has dual Sims. Copying Apps, Photographs and Data to the new phone from backup was quite easy and would have worked even if the HTC 20 had not come back to life. Should mention, it has had two OS updates already, which never happened on previous HTC phones.

Over het algemeen een goede telefoon die z'n geld waard is. Snelheid en scherm zijn prima. Camera heeft soms tijd nodig voor een goede focus, maar kan goede foto's maken. De batterij is groot en gaat makkelijk 2-3 dagen mee afhankelijk van het gebruik. Verder kun je met 128GB opslag best een tijdje mee. Ik raad de telefoon dan ook zeker aan. Wel zijn er een aantal details die me irriteren. Zo is de vingerafdruksensor, die in de aan-/uitknop aan de zijkant verwerkt zit, erg matig. Vaak wordt mijn vinger niet herkend en moet ik alsnog met wachtwoord ontgrendelen. Verder had de lichtsensor, die de schermhelderheid aanpast aan de omgeving, veel beter uitgevoerd kunnen worden. Als ik in een volledig donkere ruimte ben blijft de helderheid gewoon op 50% van het maximum en word ik verblind. Mijn 7 jaar oudere S6 kon dit beter. Verder zijn instellingen voor bijvoorbeeld scherm, meldingen en geluid over het algemeen wat beperkter dan ik gewend was en kan de meldings-LED maar in één kleur knipperen bij meldingen.

Nu de tweede uit de pro serie aangeschaft . Handig in gebruik en vindt het beter dan Samsung met al die extra apps en skins . Basic Android die je zelf kan aankleden

Als groot HTC fan kon ik helaas niet anders dan deze retour sturen. De camera is erg slecht. Blijft focussen. Wazige fotos. Ik dacht dat de camera stuk was. Volgens belsimpel niet. Als je reviews ziet moet de camera echter een stuk beter zijn. Helaas geen goeie ervaring.

Ik ben helaas iemand die zijn telefoon vaak laat vallen. Ook met een bumpercase kunnen niet alle telefoons dit aan. Al mijn HTC hebben dit overleeft, net als deze. Hufter proof dus.
