This phone is excellent for professionals working in industry as well as in lab settings. The thermal camera overlays the radiation pattern over a real picture which creates a very good bird eye view of the heat pattern.While using the thermal camera every ~10 sec there is some negligible buffering. The sensor can do point measurements or average with a good accuracy. The air quality sensor seems decent but sometimes is too far off in my opinion because I find hard to believe some of the measurements in the graph. The distance measurement is between 3-5 % off and the laser position is not optimal for measuring wall to wall as one hand is always in the way, but very usable otherwise. I have had slight difficulty finding a case for less than 60 euros which is a considerable cost. As a conclusiont the phone is excellent and stands up to its advertised capabilities !

Ik heb hem nu een jaar, super traag geworden. Laadt regelmatig niet op of geeft halverwege aan dat hij vol is en wil niet meer verder laden. Valt uit als ik een spel of video wil laden.. heel jammer dit, zeker voor dit geld

Heb de S61 nu bijna twee jaar, heb er veel plezier mee. Ik laat geregeld mijn telefoon vallen, in de modder of in het water, hierdoor zijn met regelmaat telefoons stuk gegaan bij mij, met deze Cat heb ik daar geen last van. Ook als mijn handen vies of nat zijn of als ik in de regen sta, of met handschoenen aan kan ik de S61 makkelijk nog bedienen

Van LG naar Cat

5 jaar lang heb ik een oude LG Bello gehad, deze begint op te raken tenminste dit dacht ik.... De batterijduur van die LG Bello 3 a 4 dagen.. (na 5 jaar in het begin 5-7 dagen) Nu de Cat S61, ik dacht... Grote batterij mooie robuuste telefoon. Robuust is tie zeerzeker, maar de batterij is een waterval voor je het weet is die leeg. Het opladen duurt tenminste 4 uur. Als je geluk hebt werkt de Cat S61 dan 12 uurtjes als die nieuw is. (laat staan over 2-5 jaar) Het 'Flir appje' voor de warmte etc. Stopte na een halve dag al met werken (resetten tot fabrieksinstellingen nodig dit heb ik 3x moeten doen en nu doet deze het wederom NIET. Ik hoop dat de Cat S32 beter is.

De infrarood en de sensoren voor vluchtige stoffen werken prima echter wel de eerste telefoneer gehad was de batterij na een maand kapot. Bel simpel heeft een nieuw apparaat geleverd. na twee jaar is deze batterij echter helemaal naar zijn grootje en kan ik het toestel feitelijk weggooien. Jammer geld

Dieses Gerät ist ein echtes Handwerker-Handy. Sehr robust und mit den einzigartigen Features der eingebauten FLIR Wärmebildkamera und lasergestützter Abstandsmessung. Das bietet sonst kein anderes Modell. Wer diese Funktionen haben möchte, ist mit dem Gerät gut beraten. Wer die Funktionen nicht benötigt ist mit anderen Geräten weit besser bedient. Bei Veröffentlichung war Android 8.1 mit an Bord, es kann aber auf Android 9 aktualisiert werden. Die Prozessorleistung, Kameraqualität und Lautsprecherleistung ist allenfalls durchschnittlich. Das bieten andere Handys zu deutlichen günstigeren Preisen in besserer Qualität. Auch das Gewicht von 250g schlägt ordentlich zu Buche. Leider wurde die Funktion der Abstandsmessung nicht in das Nachfolgemodell S62 Pro mit übernommen. Dieses bietet noch einmal eine verbesserte Wärmebildkamera und ist auch von der Leistung optimiert. Wenn beim S62 Pro die Abstandsmessung mit dabei gewesen wäre, hätte ich mich für das S62 Pro entschieden, weil es einfach mehr dem aktuellen Stand der Handy-Technik entspricht. Doch leider bleibt das S61 aktuell das einzige Handy mit den erwähnten Features.
